Finding out just what is on someone else's painting table is kind of cool. Will you see any of these models in upcoming Black Gobbo issues, White Dwarf, or in some other key project? Who knows, but it is a great way to see just how many models/projects other hobbyists tackle at a time.

Dave Taylor. I'm currently working on my Bretonnian Warband, my Army of the Dead for a LOTR campaign, some Dwarfs for a Games Day LOTR table, and my WWI-inspired Imperial Guard army that I'll be taking to the Baltimore GT. After that, I have to get started on a Middenheim Empire army for Storm of Chaos.

John Shaffer. Currently, I have a lot of coals in the fire: Army of the Dead for LOTR, Bretonnian Knights Errant for a new Warhammer army, and a unit of Slaanesh Chaos Warriors for a work project. A little variety helps to liven up my painting time, and sometimes I'll learn new techniques or come across a neat colour combination when working on one type of model that I can apply to other projects.

Gav Thorpe. Er, none (at the moment)...though I am determined to put together a new Imperial Guard army for Epic: Armageddon. I haven't had an Epic army in the last 5 years, even though it was one of the games I played the most in my misspent youth.

Ty Finocchiaro. I managed to get Inquisitor Lord Karamazov on the Throne of Judgment a bit before the release date. It's probably the coolest thing to come out of the 40K universe since the Space Marine. I figured it'd be a simple little project – boy, was I wrong. The model has a crippling amount of detail. It'll look great in the end, but it's gonna take some time! Outside of this, I've been toying with firin' up the old painting factory and churning out a whole bunch of Horrors and Flamers. They'd be part of a Tzeentch Daemon Army for the whole upcoming Storm of Chaos thing. I've always wanted to paint a Tzeentch army, and I guess now's the perfect time.

Rick Smith. Well, I've got a few models on my desk right now, including one of the brand new Chaos Warriors (which really look great). He's getting close to being finished. I also have an armoured Mordor Troll. That model rocks! I like painting the bigger models for some reason. I covered this Troll with scratch-built arrows. Since Ken and I have been working on the Denizens of the Deep campaign setting, I've gotten a bug to paint up 500 points (Warhammer in a Flash) of Skaven from Clan Skryre (I like their techno-arcane style). I'll be interested to see how far I get!

Some of Rick Smith's current work. It'll get done someday...
A Gav Thorpe Slayer.

Jason Buyaki. Wouldn't you like to know? Actually, working on a WFB Dwarf Slayer army and after that a 40K Adeptus Mechanicus Honor Guard Army of Lord Fabricator General Buyaki. Basically, I'm making up my own units, rules, and the like to fit the insane techno-gothic cult look I'm trying to achieve.

Andy Chambers. Epic Orks (a Great Gargant, some Landas, Stompas, and Soopa Guns), BFG Ork ships (two Battleships and doing more on my Kroozers), and 40K Imperial Guard (Mordians, just converting up some Ogryns).

An Andy Chambers conversion.

Joe Krone. I am painting a Dark Angels Space Marine army for some upcoming tournaments, a staff campaign, and a citywide campaign. I am also painting a Mordor Orc warhost for the War of The Ring Regional Campaign. Finally, I have started a Ostland Empire army to be completed by June for the Storm of Chaos.

Dirty Steve. Currently, I'm painting a Vampire Counts army, though it has no Vampires in it, only Necromancers. Lots and LOTS of Skellies and Zombies to paint, and more to paint so I can raise new units of them!

Eric Sarlin. I'm painting a Chaos Mortals army. Right now, I'm working on Chaos Hounds.

Brian Carlson. Currently, I'm working hard on a World Eaters army for a team tournament I and a few coworkers are playing in. I'm also trying to add more units to my Conquistador-themed Lustrian Expedition Company for the Empire and my Alaitoc "Wood Eldar." Now if they only would win some games! I can't wait to jump into a Guard army – now there's some stamina painting.

Ken Kennedy. Playin' with Bretonnian warband and re-basing all of my Dwarfs for the Denizens of the Deep. Doing some final touches on my Trollslayers for said campaign (and Storm of Chaos!).

One of Andy's knights, ready for battle.

Nick Davis. As I mentioned before, I am working on a lot of LOTR stuff at the moment. I just finished painting Sharku which neatly finishes my White Hand of Isengard army. Now I am about to start painting a Cave Troll and some Moria Goblins for a small War Host I am planning. That's if I don't get distracted by other shiny objects, as I have an Imperial Guard and Tau army in progress at the moment as well.

Chad Mierzwa. My ever-growing Undead Horde, Necrons, Beastmen, and Chaos Space Marines (which I have been waiting 7 years for). I would like to create a nocturnal Wood Elf army. Oh yeah, terrain, terrain, terrain (with some scenery thrown in, too).

John Stallard. I've been doing a lot of Napoleonics (apparently some historical period - Ed.), but I have been eyeing a new Bretonnian army. I was a bit put-off by how great the army book looks, but maybe if I did a ragtag army that has just been at battle, I can disguise my painting flaws with dust, grime, and gore. You know, split shields and a real campaigning look to 'em. One look at the army and you'd know the story.
