SCENERY
Although you can buy ready-made scenery, why not try
making your own? Many of the tools you need to get started are the same
as those used for painting and modelling, and much of the material can
be found around your home or bought quite cheaply from a DIY superstore.
Plus, if you make your own scenery you can design it to fit in with your
own battlefields and armies.

If you want some help with any of these projects, or just want to find
out more, here are some suggestions:
- Visit a GW store. All our staff are keen hobbyists themselves,
so if want some advice, just ask - they'll be pleased to help.
- Read Books and Magazines. Our hobby magazine White Dwarf
contains plenty of articles about modelling and scenery making, as well
as photos of wonderful models to inspire you. We'd also like like to
recommend our book How to Make Wargames Terrain, which contains lots
of scenery-making ideas for Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000.
- Visit a Club. Where you'll meet other gamers who will be only
too happy to give you the benefit of their advice.
- Check this website as we'll be publishing all sorts of helpful
hints and tips, as well as a large selection of modelling projects.
